Hidden Creeks Project partners and supporters gathered Friday, September 18, 2026 to celebrate the completion of two public artworks. Hidden Creek, located at Erie Insurance Arena, depicts the Mill Creek Flood of 1915, the Mill Creek Tube, and an artistic rendering of the Hidden Creeks Art Trail in its foundation. Also being celebrated was the piece Carving the Path to Commerce, a 32' mural located on the east side of the FEED Media building at 13th and French Street. This piece also offers an Augmented Reality segment for visitor participation. The work continues on the design, fabrication and installation of a third piece in 2026. The project will continue design work throughout the winter and further art installations in 2027.
